I love love love make up and I hoard it as well, but in this post I would like to share with you a couple of my favourite pieces that I come back to time after time.
1 – Collection concealer – Every man and his dog has talked about this product and I am no exception. I have used this since my teenage years and I am certain that a tube of this will be in my make up bag until time ends. The coverage is great and the consistency is not too cakey looking which I find with a lot of the high street concealers I have tried in the past. I get the shade light because I am almost a ghost and it covers everything I need it to very well. If you haven’t already tried this, pop down to your local boots and give it a try, you won’t regret it!
2 – I love Tarte make-up. I might even go as far as to say it is my favourite brand (shocking). I discovered this while on holiday in the US last year despite having seen many a YouTube video and blog post about the brand over the years. I have got various blushers, contour, highlighters, eye shadows, mascaras and lip products which I will keep going back to every time I do my face. I am really keen to try the Shape Tape foundation and concealer but am a little worried about colour matching as I have to buy online, being from the UK.
3 – Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette – This was a limited edition (hence no link) but it is still going, although I have hit pan. These powders are beautiful and really do give that glow from within look – particularly useful when you are having a dull skin or off day. The bronzer shade gives a subtle sun kissed look that looks great even on my pale skin. The blusher shades I like to mix together for that pop of colour, though naturally I lean more towards the pinker tone. If you are walking past a department store or Space NK I would highly recommend giving these powders a go. Pricey but worth the investment!
4 – Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – this product is just pure unadulterated make-up porn. It starts with the beautiful packaging and does not disappoint when applied – it looks beautiful. The coverage is buildable and yet has a wonderfully natural glow. The price tag is hefty but worth every single penny. It is great with the Hourglass Edit palette dusted over. Beautiful.
Let me know in the comments what is the product that you could not live without?
Until next time…
