Back on the blog after another period of demotivation. The only difference this time is that I have a plan for moving forward and trying to keep track of the things I want to do and achieve. It has taken a long while to get to this point and I no doubt envisage that there will be a few slips along the way but who is perfect hey?!?
Sometimes, to keep track of your goals you have to display them publicly to ensure that you remain accountable to what you set out to do. For this reason, I would like to share my weight loss journey with the world in the hope that somehow this will be the final straw that gets me to kick myself into shape and hopefully find happiness.
I have been quite unwell for the last year with sever bloating and discomfit and despite trying to cut out every allergen to find the cause, I cannot seen to pin-point anything. I am currently gluten-free which has improved symptoms but not got rid of them completely; I guess this will take time. However, I am going to start a new regime of meal prepping and exercise combined with regular sleep to see if this is the aid to my issues.
For those out there that may be suffering similar issues, I want to share my journey and provide a community of sharing tips. More specifically, advice for the times when food makes you anxious, nauseous, bloated, gassy, lethargic or fatigued.
My plan is to do weekly updates and share food prep/recipe ideas and exercise routines that I will be doing to try to nip my issues in the bud. I hate being unmotivated and tired all the time and I think getting serious on understanding what is happening inside my body is the key to ironing out the negative relationships I have with myself and food.
If you would like to follow my journey, please subscribe to my blog I will be posting updates every Sunday at 8pm and if you have any suggestions of things you would like me to discuss as I go along then do comment below.
Bye for now, H xx
